The Houston Ship Channel is experiencing tremendous growth. Metro Houston, the country’s No. 1 region for exports, is home to the largest petrochemical manufacturing complex in the Americas. Energy production and the export of crude oil, along with the increasing global demand for chemicals produced in the region, are major drivers of this success.

Ric Campo, Chairman of the Port Commission of the Port of Houston Authority, will address the port system’s performance, future growth and expansion opportunities and capital investment plans.

The Greater Houston Partnership looks forward to welcoming our members and the business community at large back to in-person events. As we return to gathering in person, we are committed to keeping you informed on our protocols to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
As of September 20, the Partnership requires all in-person event attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have received a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to attending an event. We will also continue our policy of requiring attendees and staff to wear face masks at all meetings and events, except while eating or drinking.
The Partnership continues to encourage Houstonians to get vaccinated and follow health and safety guidance to reduce the continued transmission of COVID-19 in our community. We will notify our members when these guidelines are modified.
