Royal Caribbean International’s world-class terminal opened as the third cruise terminal at Port of Galveston. Forecasted to create 800 new jobs, $1.4 billion in local business services revenue, and $5.6 million in state and local taxes, the terminal is also the first LEED Zero Energy facility in the world.
Economic growth such as the terminal are one indicator of the steady growth Galveston has experienced over the past five years. As one of the 12 counties in the greater Houston region, Galveston’s continued development is integral to our community’s success.
Join the Greater Houston Partnership for a tour of the third terminal at Port Galveston and a robust discussion about the recent and future of economic growth in Galveston County.
