To close out the second annual Future of Global Energy Presented by Chevron, the Partnership and Center for Houston's Future hosts a special reception and tour of one of the region's hubs for energy innovation, the East End Maker Hub.
The East End Maker Hub is an industrial makerspace and manufacturing center and home to Houston’s top fabricators, manufacturers, crafters and innovators. The Maker Hub’s mission is that Houston becomes the world leader in advanced manufacturing, to create over a 1,000 new manufacturing companies in the next 5 years, and to prepare Houston’s 21st century manufacturing workforce to fill thousands of high paying advanced manufacturing jobs which has major implications across Houston's key industries, including energy and energy 2.0.
This reception is exclusive to current Partnership members.
Houston has long been recognized as the Energy Capital of the World. To maintain that standing and realize sustained economic growth, the region must play a lead role in driving the global energy transition to a low-carbon future. In its second year, the Future of Global Energy Conference showcases how the Partnership's Houston Energy Transition Initiative and Center for Houston's Future are convening leaders across industry, academia and policy to realize solutions to achieve a sustainable energy future.
All Future of Global Energy events require separate event tickets. Please be sure to purchase individual tickets for each Future of Global Energy event which you wish to attend. Learn more about energy transition in Houston here.
