World Cup - Team Houston

In collaboration with Houston First and the FIFA World Cup 26 Host Committee, the Greater Houston Partnership is leading Team Houston on a strategic trade mission to Germany, Portugal, and the Netherlands. The visit is designed to foster long-term collaboration, expand bilateral opportunities, and promote Houston as a global destination for business, travel, and major international events.

Agenda

Delegates will engage in targeted meetings with leading German, Portuguese, and Dutch companies, to explore collaboration and investment opportunities.

Monday, March 16th - Frankfurt, Germany

  • 9:45 am Meet in the Hotel Lobby
  • 10:30 am – 2:00 pm DFB Bilateral Sports Investment Summit – Germany
  • 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm Frankfurt Rhein Main Meeting with Business Eagles EFC
  • 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm An Evening Above the Clouds: Houston meets Frankfurt

Tuesday, March 17th - Frankfurt, Germany and Lisbon, Portugal

Germany is part of the Schengen Area.

  • U.S. citizens may travel visa-free for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism or business.

  • Your passport must:

    • Be issued within the last 10 years

    • Be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area
