Houston Trade and Investment Mission to Taiwan and Japan
The Greater Houston Partnership, in collaboration with Houston First and the Japan America Society of Houston, invites you to join a high-level trade and investment mission to Taiwan and Japan, October 27–31, 2025. The mission will strengthen Houston’s strategic ties with key partners, promote the region as a premier global city, and expand opportunities in energy, innovation, advanced manufacturing, aerospace and tourism.
Agenda
Delegates will engage in targeted meetings with leading Japanese, Taiwanese, and U.S. companies, as well as major power providers, to explore collaboration and investment opportunities. This mission will deepen business and government relationships, fueling long-term growth between Houston, Taiwan, and Japan. Additionally, delegates will be able to participate in a Mission to Houston celebration in Taipei, hosted by Houston First.
Taiwan - October 27 - 29, 2025
The trade mission will begin on Sunday evening in Taiwan with an optional visit to Kavalan Whisky. On Monday and Tuesday, delegates will participate in meetings with non-governmental organizations, corporate leaders, and U.S. representatives. On Tuesday evening, delegates will be invited to a Houston-focused reception, featuring renowned Houston chefs and highlighting the city’s culinary and cultural excellence.
Japan - October 29 - 31, 2025
The mission will continue in Japan on Thursday and Friday with engagements involving major corporations, economic organizations, and U.S. representatives. On Thursday evening, delegates will attend a Houston-focused reception, offering a similar experience to the event in Taiwan and continuing the celebration of Houston’s dynamic food and cultural scene. The trade mission will conclude with an optional cultural tour of Tokyo on Saturday, November 1.

Join the Delegation
Those interested in participating in the delegation can join at three engagement levels: Delegate, Sponsor, and Executive Sponsor. Note: Registration fee includes mission coordination, ground transportation, entry to the Mission to Houston celebration in Taipei, group meetings, and some meals. Participants are responsible for lodging, airfare to and from Taiwan and Japan, and travel insurance (if applicable). The Partnership has negotiated discounted group hotel rates and airfare and will be available subject to availability. The Partnership will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage to participating persons, property or related.
Executive Sponsor - $20,000
• Registration fee waived for two company representatives
• Speaking roles at Mission to Houston celebration and other select events
