As the Houston Office Managing Partner at Ernst & Young LLP, David Zaozirny leads nearly 1,800 professionals and is responsible for expanding the firm’s market presence, strengthening client relationships, and advancing community engagement across the region. In this role, he focuses on fostering collaboration across service lines while supporting clients as they navigate complexity, transformation, and growth. David brings more than 30 years of experience advising organizations across the energy, oil and gas, chemicals, mining and metals, manufacturing, and technology sectors. As a partner in Financial Accounting Advisory Services and the US FAAS Energy Sector Leader, he has supported public and private companies on complex accounting and regulatory matters related to mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, divestitures, and finance transformation. Earlier in his career, David served as an audit partner, experience that continues to inform his emphasis on quality, governance, and professional judgment.

David is focused on helping clients, people, and the broader community move forward with confidence amid rapid change. Drawing on deep experience at the intersection of finance, regulation, and large-scale transformation, he supports organizations in navigating complexity responsibly, strengthening transparency, governance, and trust in the markets. For the past 15 years, David has led cross-functional teams spanning Assurance, Tax, EY-Parthenon, and Consulting to deliver integrated, high-impact outcomes for clients. He is equally committed to shaping the future of the EY workforce, championing continuous learning, upskilling, and inclusive leadership to ensure teams are prepared for what’s next.
