Jamey Rootes, of course, is best known for the role he played over two decades in helping build the Houston Texans into one of the world’s most successful sports franchises. He is an extraordinary Houston business leader and has played a significant role here at the Partnership through the years, including serving as our chair in 2016. Few can match Jamey’s enthusiasm for sports and his drive to see Houston succeed—he is the consummate example of what makes this city great.
