HETI convened cross-sector leaders for an evening of connection that reflected Houston’s global spirit. In partnership with the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship and the Texas Exchange for Energy and Climate Entrepreneurship, HETI also hosted the fifth annual Energy Venture Day Pitch Competition, in which more than 50 startups presented cutting-edge energy technology solutions.
The week also marked a significant milestone for regional collaboration, as the University of Houston and Rice University signed a memorandum of understanding at HETI House. The partnership aligns research, technology innovation, and cross-sector engagement to address complex challenges across materials, energy, and industrial systems, further positioning Houston and the Gulf Coast as a global leader in circular carbon and resource innovation.
