Please join the Partnership's UpSkill Houston initiative for a special UpSkill Works Forum featuring an engaging and thought-provoking conversation with HD Chambers, Superintendent of Alief ISD, as he reflects on the importance of education connecting with business and industry.

After more than 35 years dedicated to preparing middle and high school students for success in life and the workforce, HD Chambers will be starting a new chapter as he steps down as Alief ISD’s superintendent. In addition to the many young people’s lives he has impacted directly, HD championed House Bill 5 in 2013, which connects education and business through “endorsements” (similar to a college major), which guide students in programs of study in high school and college to connect them to good jobs as they enter the workforce.
